Our Mission

Creating a space where creativity, sustainability, and community intersect.

🚀 CURRENT GOAL

We’re building the foundation—starting with community support. We have set up a Go Fund Me to reach the goals to get things up and running.

  • Launch the space

  • Gather materials and organize them for public purchase

  • Host firsts classes

“Grassroots funding isn’t just about money—it’s proof that a community believes in building something together before it even exists.”

Our Focus

Hands-on classes & workshops, community events, and sustainability programs.

Education

Create art from new and reclaimed materials with expert guidance and friendly support. With more than 100 artists, teachers and diy-ers plus authors, ecologists, biologists and gardeners, we're excited to bring great programs and classes to our community.

Community

Connect with fellow creatives passionate about art, reuse and environmental care. Through group gatherings of knitters and stitchers, poets and writers, artists and other creatives we build community. With public art projects and outreach, we build community.

As a clearing house for gently used materials that would usually end up in landfills. This includes clean, empty food cans, empty food boxes, paper and cardboard, fabrics from "never made" projects, beads and jewelry findings, and so many more items. We provide accessibility for upcycling materials to artists, teachers, DIY crafters and more.
